Disclaimer

Please carefully read over the information below, as booking your appointment and signing this document verifies all material has been reviewed by all players participating prior to arrival of booking.

Once you have entered the escape room, the door you entered through will remain closed (not locked). Attempting to leave the room through this door is only permitted for emergencies, and will result in the immediate disqualification from game play for any other reasons. At any point for any reason during the game you can leave the room, however the time will not stop and you will not be able to access any devices etc if you wish to return to the game and no refunds will be granted. Once the clock begins you will have 60 minutes to find clues and solves puzzles to find the way out of the room or rooms. When 60 minutes is up and you have not been successful with exiting remaining doors that were locked in game play, The Way Out staff will come into the escape room and assist all players with exit at that point.

During game play in our escape room nothing needs to be broken or forced open, so have fun but please do NOT destroy the props for future gamers. Our games are about logic not strength and remember to use your brain not your brawn. Please don’t remove anything from the rooms and please LEAVE KEYS IN LOCKS once challenge has been completed. Anything that is broken or removed from the room during game play, as well as any damage that forces The Way Out to close the escape room any length of time will be charged to the group and split between all registered players for that game. It follows that any damages that don’t force a closure of the room will also be charged to the group and split between all registered players for that game regardless of intent. Please follow all written and verbal instructions our game masters provide prior to entering our room. They are there for your safety, not to trick you. Remember, SAFETY FIRST, to ensure a fun experience for all attendees. If we observe any potentially risky or unruly behaviour, we will enter the room and stop the game immediately and no refunds will be granted. If you are removed from the attraction, there will be no refund or readmission for any reason. We reserve the right to remove any patron at any time for any reason without notice or refund.

You are not permitted to use any cellular devices and/or take videos/photographs in the duration of the game. This includes and is not limited to mobile phones, tablets, laptops, calculators, smart watches, google glass etc. Doing so will hinder your experience of the game and may expose game secrets for future gamers.

You are required to arrive 15 minutes prior to your appointment.  If you arrive late you may not be able to finish your full game or you may not be allowed to enter at all. Our bookings run by appointment and due to other bookings you may not be able to finish your game.  If you arrive too late to play, you will not be reimbursed.
